This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that created the record.

County Jail Records

The Platte County Sheriff’s Office is the official starting point for a Platte County Detention Center booking or release record. Administrative staff can route a request to the proper custodian. Use the online form when a written record is needed, and describe the booking number, case number, date range, release fields, and any associated booking photograph as precisely as possible.

Online records request

The countywide open-records form lists CountyClerk@CO.Platte.MO.US and 816-858-3340. That route may help with county records, but the County Clerk is not necessarily the holder of a sheriff’s jail record.

Choose the Right Office

The right contact depends on which agency held the person and which event must be confirmed.

  • For a county release search or release report, use the full process on the home page and contact the Platte County Sheriff.
  • For parole, probation, or a possible supervision discharge, use Post-Release Supervision and MODOC.
  • For same-day departures, use 24-Hour Releases; Platte County has no researched public recent-release feed, so a date-bounded request is the official fallback.
  • For a scheduled prison date or notification, use Release Date Lookup and VINE Inmate Check.
  • For the jail itself, see the Platte County Detention Center contact and release path.
  • For a sentenced Missouri prisoner, use the MODOC Offender Web Search or the department’s records custodian.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System and contact that authority.

Missouri Parole Board records requests use ParoleBoard.SunshineRequest@doc.mo.gov. General Board questions may go to 573-751-8488 or DOC.MissouriParoleBoard@doc.mo.gov.
